AC Milan, Fassone considers return of Ariedo Braida

With Paolo Maldini who has recently refused AC Milan’s offer to enter the club’s control room with a new presidency, Marco Fassone is considering a few profiles to complete the organizational chart of the club and former director of sport Ariedo Braida is believed to be the right person for the job.

Fassone is now looking for an experienced chief who knows how to deal with football’s institutions, but also who is known as a true milanista and Ariedo Braida perfectly fits this description.

Braida is currently working as Barcelona’s international director of sport, not a bad position at all, but the Italian could consider a return to his old club to work alongside new owners to reach ambitious targets.

Fassone’s objective is to bring AC Milan back to the top of Italy and Europe and he believes that the experience of Braida can play a vital role, so much so there could be a meeting soon to discuss a potential return of Braida to the San Siro outfit.
