AC Milan 0 - 2 Juventus: Higuain celebrates a century of Serie A goals
- Nima Tavallaey Roodsari
Gionzalo Higuain was the man of the night at the San Siro becoming the second player in Europe in the past 20 years after Zlatan Ibraimovic to score over 100 goals in two of Europe's top 5 league's. El Pipita scored 107 goals in 190 appearances in the Primera Division for Real Madrid and has now scored 101 Serie A goals in 153 matches for Napoli and Juventus combined.
The beautiful goals aside Higuain and Juventus were in complete command throughout the match not giving Milan a sniff aside from 2 chances in the first half where Gianluigi Buffon and Daniele Rugani saw off shots from Kalinic and Calhanoglu respectively. The Bianconeri midfield bullied Milan's counterpart with Miralem Pjanic and Paulo Dybala linking up beautifully before feeding it through to Higuain on both occasions.
Milan looked impotent up front as well as lacking ideas in the final third and although Montella made changes to alter that, it was too little to late for the Rossoneri who now are 12 points behind Juventus and Napoli who play tomorrow. The question now is how much longer Montella can cling on to his job as Milan's season could be over before Christmas.
