Article 11 of the FIGC Rules and Regulations, for example, states that "any behaviour deemed to be either directly or indirectly discriminatory - aka including any offence, insult or denigratory remark of a racist, religious, linguistic, sexual, xenophobic, ethnic nature, or related to ideologies that are prohibited by the state...is punishable by a ban of at least ten Matchdays, or, in more serious cases, a lengthier ban and a fine of €10.000 to 20.000" (Part 2).
